TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires to Air LIVE on REV TV
Burlington, ON (January 7th, 2022) — REV TV CANADA'S MOTORSPORTS & AUTOMOTIVE DESTINATION 24/7, is pleased to welcome back the 2022 TireRack.com Road to Indy iRacing eSeries Presented by Cooper Tires starting Wednesday, January 12th at 6:30pm ET.
The TireRack.com eSeries is a four-round series plus an All-Star Invitational race, which sees a field made up of “Road to Indy Prospects” and Road to Indy drivers competing on virtual tracks designed to emulate well-known road courses throughout America.
The schedule features:
January 12 – Virginia International Raceway
January 19 – Indianapolis Raceway Park
February 2 – Barber Motorsports Park
February 7 – Road America
March 2 – World Wide Technology Raceway – All-Star Invitational
“REV TV is excited again to showcase the Road to Indy eSeries,” said Mike Garrow President of REV TV. “The technology along with the overall logistics and preparation that goes into this series makes for a unique viewing experience, as we know a number of our subscribers do quite a bit of virtual racing as well,” he added.
"The Road to Indy eSeries is a prime opportunity to see the future stars of INDYCAR going head-to-head in the virtual world before they dive into the official 2022 season, and the live coverage on REV TV is such a fantastic bonus for Canadian racing fans," offered Rob Howden, Road to Indy Series Development Director. "A number of Canadians are lined up to compete, including Indy Lights driver Antonio Serrevalle from Unionville, Ontario. Expected RTI rookie Lucas Mann from Oakville, Ontario is also scheduled to be on the grid, and we'll see Toronto, Ontario's Mac Clark for the second Road to Indy Prospects round as well. Clark will definitely be a contender for victory."
Canadian broadcaster Howden will lead the TireRack.com eSeries commentary team with production managed by Xtrememotorsports and technical support from Ricmotech eRacing Management. All events will feature two 20-minutes races. Competitors will vie for various awards including the SimMetric “Pole Award” provided by SimMetric Driver Performance Labs, the Official Sim Partner of the Road to Indy.
