The Legendary Trans Am Series Comes to REV TV in 2026

Burlington, ON (February 24, 2025) — REV TV CANADA'S MOTORSPORTS & MOTORING DESTINATION 24/7 is delighted to announce that the 60th anniversary season of the Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli will be presented live on REV TV. 

Throughout the years, some of the greatest names in motorsports have participated in the Trans Am Series. This list includes Canadian motorsports legends such as the 1977 Champion Ludwig Heimrath and the 1981 Champion Eppie Wietzes, as well as twenty-time Trans Am Series race winner Ron Fellows, whose dedication to rejuvenating Canada’s legendary home for motorsport, Canadian Tire Motorsport Park will be on full display when the Trans Am Series makes its only international stop on Labour Day weekend this September. 

 With five distinct classes (TA/XGT/SGT/GT and TA2), Trans Am is the longest-running professional road racing series in North America. The series, which is celebrating its 60th anniversary in 2026, has not rested on its lofty laurels, however, as it honours its past it has also helped build racing’s future with the TA2 class, in particular, has become a proving ground for starts such as Brent Crews, Connor Zilisch and Thad Moffitt to hone their craft and build their names.

The Trans Am Series kicks off their season this weekend at Sebring International Raceway on REV TV. Catch all the action this Sunday with Trans Am at 9AM ET and TA2 at 1PM ET.
